Service List

This list can help you decide on what care and service is best for your vehicle.

Hansen Detailing is mobile and primarily operates between the Central Valley and Bay Area, CA. Ceramic coatings may require garage coverage.

Cost depends on vehicle size and condition, along with the service you would like. Mobile visits for quotes are free! A cost estimate can be provided over email if preferred. Simply send a photo of your vehicle with the year, model, and service desired.

Feel free to contact Hansen for more info on how we can help maintain your vehicle’s aesthetic.

Basic Interior and Exterior Detail

If your vehicle has only light contamination and still has sealant or wax on the paint, then a basic detail can be the best option.

  • For the interior, this includes vacuuming, surface wipedown, and glass cleaning.
  • On the exterior, this includes a hand wash to remove surface contamination and spray wax to help fortify existing paint sealant.

Advanced Interior and Exterior Detail

If your vehicle has not received a detail for some time and has heavy contamination or your sealant or wax needs to be reapplied, then an advanced detail can be the best way to bring your vehicle back to a clean state.

  • For the Interior, this includes the extra tasks of fighting stains on the surfaces, carpets, and seats, along with cleaning inside cubbies, door jams, and harder to reach areas.
  • On the Exterior, after the hand wash, the paint and glass is treated to remove iron and fallout particles followed by clay decontamination. Tree sap and road tar are removed before a new coating of sealant or wax is applied to paint, trim, wheels, and glass.

Interior Protective Coatings

This service can help protect interior surfaces from contamination and UV rays.

  • After an advanced interior detail, all surfaces are coated with sealants and fabric protectant.

Engine Bay Detail

This detail helps maintain the aesthetic of your vehicle’s engine and bay. The removal of heavy contamination from the engine can even improve cooling.

  • The engine bay is cleaned using degreaser, brushes, and steam followed by a wipe down. Metals are polished and plastic parts are dressed.

Light/Moderate Paint Correction

Paint correction helps restore gloss to paint by removing defects and scratches from the paint surface or clear coat. If you would like to enhance your paint’s gloss without the time or cost of a complete paint correction, then a light or moderate correction can be a good option.

  • After an advanced exterior detail, a light or moderate paint correction involves fast passes of one or two stages.

Complete Paint Correction

A complete paint correction can restore high levels of gloss to your vehicle’s paint by removing the majority of paint defects. A complete correction can be especially useful for restoring weathered paint on an older or vintage vehicle.

It should be noted that a couple of defects that paint correction cannot fix are peeling paint or failing clear coat. A paint thickness gauge is also used to decide how much correction the vehicle’s paint can withstand.

  • After an advanced exterior detail, a complete paint correction involves as much time and stages as needed to remove as many paint defects as possible.

Localized Paint Correction

if your vehicle is involved in a minor accident or has paint transfer from a scrape or other impact, then a localized correction can help restore paint in a specific area. If unwanted dents are present, it is recommended to have paintless dent repair performed before paint correction.

  • The chosen surface area is washed and decontaminated before two stages of paint correction followed by an application of paint sealant.

Paint Touch-Up

Using your vehicle’s model, year, and paint code, Hansen can order touch-up paint matched to your vehicle. Paint touch-up conceals small chips and scrapes by matching their color to the rest of the vehicle’s paint.

  • Chips and scrapes are cleaned thoroughly before application of paint, wet sanding and paint correction are performed as needed on dried touch-up paint.

Headlight Correction

This service can restore headlights that have “yellowed” or hazed over.

  • Headlights are cleaned thoroughly before wet sanding and machine polishing to remove the “weathered” surface. A ceramic coating is applied to help preserve restored headlights.

Ceramic Coating

Ceramic paint coatings can provide years of protection, negating the need for regular wax or sealant applications. They also provide very strong chemical resistance.

  • An advanced exterior detail and a complete paint correction are performed before ceramic coating is applied to paint, glass, and trim.

Competitive Auto Show Detail

Hansen can help your vehicle win automotive shows by performing a Competitive Auto Show Detail. This service attempts to bring your vehicle to its best aesthetic condition possible. If desired, Hansen can also attend shows to act as detailing support for your vehicle. Discounts can be offered for this service if your vehicle is allowed to be used for advertising during a show.

  • Exterior, interior, and engine bay are all thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated. A complete paint correction is performed followed by polishing of all metals, trims, and glass. All surfaces inside and out are coated with sealant and dressed. Ceramic coating is optional.
